Once a Month Cooking for Diets?

in General Interest

Many people have discovered the convenience of once a month cooking. You save a ton of time by cooking up all your meals in just a few hours, and then pop them into plastic freezer containers and fill up your freezer with pre-cooked meals. Easy, fast, and super-convenient for anyone who works outside the home.

You even save a lot of money on your food bills because you never have leftovers to throw away, and you can buy the “family-sized” packages of meats and poultry, even if you’re just cooking for yourself.

That’s why so many people are sold on the idea of once-a-month or once-a-week cooking. But did you know you can use the same basic idea to make personalized portion-control diet meals? You know – just like those frozen meals you find at the supermarket, or the ones you can buy from famous diet companies and have delivered to your house.

After all, what is in those expensive little packages? Just a frozen meal with the right amount of food and calories to help the average person lose weight. So why couldn’t you make them yourself?

That’s exactly what author Jonni Good asked herself several years ago. She started experimenting with different recipes and different techniques, and it all came together in her ebook called The Easy-Does-It Diet.

In fact, thousands of people have used the easy once-a-month cooking system since the ebook was published back in 2003. Many people even continue to use the basic system after they’ve lost all their excess weight, just because it’s so convenient to always have a full meal waiting for them in the freezer when they get home from a hard day’s work.
